Biomedicine International is an OPEN ACCESS, internationally peer-reviewed, English language that publishes original research articles, review articles, case reports, hypotheses, study protocols, and letters in all areas of biology and medicine.

Articles related to the history of medicine are also welcome. Authors are encouraged to register through the journal website and submit their manuscripts online.

We are committed to providing a high-quality independent assessment of all submitted articles and support the authors in the finalizing of the text up to a high scholarly standard.

Biomedicine International has ceased publication since 2014. We are negotiating we a publisher for potential transfer of this journal to a new host.

Young Investigator Award

A Young Investigator Award including 1000 US$ honorarium will be given for authors under the age of 40 who make the best contributions to the journal. The first award was given to Richard Isaiah Tubbs in 2011.
